The Gift of Slow Mornings

There’s something magical about slow mornings — the ones where time doesn’t rush you. When breakfast is homemade, sunlight spills across the floor, and little hands reach for toys that invite play, not noise.
Those mornings are what inspired Create & Wonder.
I started designing our felt animal finger puppets before my own children were born — dreaming of toys that encouraged stillness, creativity, and connection. Toys that didn’t beep or flash, but sparked imagination in the simplest of ways.
When children play slowly, they notice things. They build stories, repeat motions, explore textures. They learn patience.
Our puppets fit perfectly into these gentle rhythms. Whether it’s a quiet storytelling moment on the couch or a pretend-play scene on the rug, they remind us that play doesn’t need to be loud to be meaningful.
So here’s to slow mornings — and to filling them with moments that matter.
